Link previews and site icons
A warspace.gg link now shows a picture and a description in Discord, WhatsApp and X. New site icons, and a page for addresses that do not exist.
Terms and rules of play
The terms of service and the rules of play are published, and the privacy page explains more. Entering the game means accepting them, and the loading screen says so.
Settings follow your account
Signed in, your options, keys, crosshair and BUY picks follow your Discord account to any computer.
New knives
Both team knives have new handles, with the WARSPACE mark on the blade. The hand really grips the knife, and every draw tosses and catches it, with its own sounds.
Sharper textures
Every weapon texture was rebuilt, 1.5 MB smaller, and a one-frame black square is gone.
New loading screen
Sharper at any size, with a deeper space scene, the Earth and Moon drifting by, and meteors.
Ranked lobbies fill first
FIND MATCH now fills a waiting ranked lobby before it matches searchers together.
New gun names
Six guns have new names: GL-556, TV-5, X-18, D-50, JR-9 and MS-9. The AK-47, M4A4 and AWP keep theirs.
PLAY and CAREER
PLAY is one lobby with PRACTICE, CASUAL and RANKED tabs and QUICK PLAY. The new CAREER page shows your matches with their scoreboards, all 18 ranks, 40 levels, the top 50 and how ranked works. A rank card after every ranked match.
The WARSPACE Discord
Signing in joins the WARSPACE Discord server, where your rank shows as a role. Sign-in now opens in a popup, so the game stays loaded.
Ranked
Rated matches with 18 badges, placement, ranked lobbies and halftime, a leaderboard, and the queue: FIND MATCH alone or with a party. Seasons and moderation.
Online with Discord, XP and levels
Online rooms use Discord sign-in, and every round your team wins online earns XP toward 40 levels.
Astronauts
New astronaut operators for both teams, with a realistic walk and crouch, and a cinematic loading screen.
Two rifles and two pistols
The GL-556 for the Ts, the TV-5 for the CTs, and the JR-9 and MS-9 pistols for both.
Guns on the ground
Drop a gun with G and pick one up with E. A death drops the best gun, and the C4 is in slot 5.
Spectating
When you die, you watch a teammate in first person.
