Is WARSPACE free?
Yes. There is nothing to buy and no ads. Every weapon is free on the BUY page.
Do I need to download anything?
No. WARSPACE runs in your browser. Open warspace.gg on a computer and play.
What do I need to play?
A computer with a mouse and a keyboard, and a current desktop browser with WebGL 2. It is tested in Chrome.
Can I play on a phone or a tablet?
Not yet. WARSPACE is built for a mouse and a keyboard. On a phone you can send yourself the link and read about the game.
Is WARSPACE Counter-Strike?
No. It is an independent game, not affiliated with Valve. It plays by Counter-Strike 1.6's gun rules, and its knife and grenades follow CS:GO's, but every map is its own and nothing in it comes from Valve.
Why do I need Discord?
Online play needs an account, and Discord is the only sign-in: no email or password is asked. Your Discord name is your name in game. Practice needs no account at all.
What does WARSPACE store about me?
Your Discord id, name and avatar, your progress and your matches. No email, no messages, no trackers, and nothing is sold. You can delete your account yourself, at once. The privacy page lists every field.
Where are the servers?
In Tel Aviv and in the US East. The game picks the one with the lowest ping, or you choose.
How do I play with friends?
In CASUAL, create a room and send its code or invite link. In RANKED, make a party and search together.
How does ranked work?
10 placement matches, then 18 tiers from DUST I to SINGULARITY. Everyone starts at 1000; wins add points and losses take them.
Are there bots?
Yes. PRACTICE is against bots at three levels, and casual rooms can fill empty seats with them. Bots differ in sight, reaction and aim, never in damage.
Can I make my own map?
Yes. CREATORS is a map editor in the game: build on the planet, test with bots, and publish your map for everyone to play.
How big is the planet?
Its radius is 55 metres. A lap of the equator, about 346 metres, takes about a minute at a run.
